Marais Home in Chevy Chase carries Flamingo Estate — the LA farm-to-bath line of small-batch candles, soaps, and apothecary goods. Visit us at 882 E High Street.
How long should a candle burn the first time?
Long enough to melt the wax all the way to the edges of the vessel — usually 2 to 3 hours for a standard candle. This prevents tunneling and extends the life of the candle dramatically.
Do you carry hand-poured local candles?
Yes — we rotate through Lexington and regional candle makers alongside our boutique brands. Selection changes seasonally.
Do you offer gift wrap and gift sets?
Yes. We pre-build gift sets year-round and add custom wrapping in-store. Ask about corporate and client gifting for larger volumes.
