Built to your dimensions

Sit on the frames we carry, then adjust depth, arm, leg, and back style to fit your room. A made-to-order sofa from us won’t show up in a thousand other living rooms.

02 — Fabric

Fabric houses + COM welcome

We work across a wide network of upholstery makers and fabric houses. Bring your own (COM) on most frames, or pick from memos in person. Performance, linen, leather, mohair — whatever holds up for you.

03 — Timeline

6 to 8 weeks from approval

Quoted per project, written down before anything is ordered. White-glove delivery across Central Kentucky — Lexington, Louisville, Frankfort, Versailles, Georgetown.

Do you offer custom furniture in Lexington, KY?

Yes. Marais Home offers made-to-order upholstery designed with you in our Chevy Chase showroom. Typical lead time is 6 to 8 weeks from approval.

How long does custom furniture take?

Most made-to-order upholstery ships in 6 to 8 weeks from approval. We will give you a specific timeline when we write the spec.

Can I bring my own fabric (COM)?

Yes — COM is welcome on most of the frames we carry. We will confirm any constraints when we write the order.

Do you build custom case goods (tables, storage, beds)?

Our custom program is primarily upholstery. For dining tables, storage, and beds, we carry a curated collection from makers we trust.

Do you deliver outside Lexington?

Yes. We deliver throughout Central Kentucky, including Louisville, Frankfort, Versailles, Georgetown, and Nicholasville, with white-glove service on furniture orders.

Do I have to hire a designer to buy from Marais Home?

No. The full collection is open to anyone, in person or online. Design services are available if you want help, ranging from a single consultation to a full-home plan.
